Children at Union Cross Baptist Church are active and caring. It is the goal of the Children's Ministry to provide engaging and memorable faith development for children. Our ministry includes opportunities for children to learn and grow in their faith.
Wee Church is a fun and safe place for 2- and 3-year-olds during our Sunday morning worship service. Toddlers can play and laugh and grow in the love of God’s family here at UCBC under the supervision of volunteers from our congregation in the nursery area of our Fellowship Hall building. Children can go straight from Sunday School to Wee Church or they can join the Wee Church crowd as other members of their families join us for the worship hour. Toddle on over!
Children’s Church is a special time for 4 to 7-year-olds during our Sunday morning worship service. Children come to worship with their families, have a special Children’s Time during worship, and then dismiss to Children’s Church in the Fellowship Hall building. Children are learning to celebrate God’s world through colors, creatures, gardens, people, symbols, places, numbers, and holidays! Volunteers from our congregation provide a safe and exciting way for young children to experience the worship of God.
